Product Categories

All products submitted for the competition are assigned to a category before the tasting. This happens in two steps: During online registration, producers can specify the product category for each individual product via a scroll-down menu. After receiving the samples, we check the assignment again. This is how we ensure that each product is judged in the correct category. This is important because the jurors only know the product category and the alcohol content of the beverage during the blind tasting.
