Special Awards 2023
In addition to the awards for the best spirits submitted, Craft Spirits Berlin presents special awards once a year for outstanding achievements in the field of handcrafted spirits. The special prizes recognise products, producers, personalities, inventions and developments that advance the technology, culture, communication and perception of craft spirits. The following special awards will be presented:
“Female Craft Distiller of the Year” honours women with a special commitment to craft spirits.
“Young Craft Distiller of the Year” goes to producers up to the age of 30.
“Outstanding Innovation” recognises inventiveness and further developments.
“Best in Tradition” honours a lively cultivation of tradition.
“Craft Spirits Newcomer of the Year” recognises newcomers in the world of handmade spirits.
Do you have a suggestion? Do you feel called upon? Give us your tip. Apply now. Craft Spirits Berlin will accept recommendations and applications until January 27th, 2023, which we will then present to our expert jurors for a decision. The special prizes will be awarded at the Craft Spirits Berlin Awards ceremony on March 4th, 2023.
